Eastern Orphan Society (Tamkeen) recently held a general assembly meeting to elect the administrative council in its second session, at the Dhahran Palace Hotel in Al-Khobar Governorate.
The meeting included a discussion of the most prominent achievements in the previous session, in addition to presenting a number of existing and future projects.
The General Director of the Association, Khalid bin Abdul Wahid Al-Khan, stated that the Tamkeen Association held a meeting of the General Assembly the day before yesterday.
In order to elect the Society’s Board of Directors in its second session, the meeting included announcing the names of the nominees for the new administrative council: “Saud Abdulaziz Al-Ansari as Chairman, Ghodran Saeed Ghodran as Deputy, Hassan Ibrahim Al-Ammari as Treasurer, Faisal Abdullah Fuad as a member, Ali Abdulaziz Al-Turki as a Member, Fahd Bin Sami Al-Binali as a member, assistant to Zamil Al-Zamil as a member, Dawood Sulaiman Al-Qosaibi as a member, Ibrahim Hassan Al-Attas as a member.
Noting that the meeting also included a visual presentation on the most prominent achievements in its previous session, in addition to presenting the developments of a number of existing projects and future projects.
Among them is the Tamkeen Endowment for Orphans project, the association’s headquarters, and the investment project.
Al-Khan explained that Tamkeen Association sought during the last period to provide the best services and programs to its orphan beneficiaries, whose number exceeded 500 orphans, and among those programs and services, sending more than 5 children to study abroad, and contracting with a number of institutions and sectors to employ and train the beneficiaries of the association.
