Prince Saud bin Nayef, Prince of Eastern Province, met today the Chairman of Board of Directors of Tamkiin Association, Mr. Ayed bin Farhan Al-Qahtani, accompanied by members of the association’s board of directors, on the occasion of the establishment of the association and the start of its work.
Prince Saud bin Nayef valued the Kingdom’s interest in Awqaf, their care and development through the establishment of the General Authority for Awqaf, which aims to organize, preserve and develop Awqaf to have a role in economic development and social solidarity in accordance with the purposes of Islamic Sharia.
Mr. Ayed explained that the association is the first in the eastern region specialized in the field of Awqaf, and it seeks to advance the Awqaf sector and its workers, guided by the best methodologies and practices.
Al-Qahtani thanked Prince Saud for his support for the region and its people in all fields.
